Nokia has highlighted seven trendsĀ as key defining directions that the mobile phone market is heading in. These trends were specific to emerging markets like Africa although they do have the global view in mind. Number five on their list grabbed my attention.
“New learning economy: Personal development tools will fill the mobile content pipeline, and brands will embrace that trend… He also predicted that the next billion digital customers will use the mobile device before they ever access the internet from a PC.”
That is exactly what I have been suggesting in previous blogs and exactly what I tell people when I share the Success University opportunity. It is what the late Economist Peter Drucker predicted in 2005 when he coined the term ‘webucation’, just as Success University first kicked open it’s doors for business.
Personal development and on-line education is most definitely on the rise. Imagine that! I repeat the quote: “Personal development tools will fill the mobile content pipeline, and brands will embrace that trend…” So if large mobile phone companies are recognising this key trend, isn’t it time you did? Success University offers you a chance to market the ever increasingly demanded product of personal development. I’m in. Are you?
Incidentally it was Peter Drucker who first predicted the mobile phone industry as an emerging industry of opportunity. He was right then and he’s right on the mark for webucation as well!
