Persistence is key

This is literally grit your teeth time for me! Every project I am working on is steadily growing and things are happening. But every project I am involved in is new, growing, developing, at early stages – whatever you want to call it! Everything takes manpower and time (so much time!) and nothing is ticking over YET. I guess persistence comes into play. Persistence and faith!
I guess you could ask why all my projects are new. Well it was only a year and half ago that I started this success journey. I quit my job a year and a half ago. My success journey is new, I didn’t really believe in personal development before then. I like dreading, and I read a lot but I didn’t really understand success principles as a science. I had a lot to learn and boy I still do!
The other day, on one of the Success University courses I’m following I read that if there is one trait all successful people have it is persistence. To become successful they had to grit their teeth. They did not quit. They had faith. They worked hard! In essence my persistence on my projects is my faith in my own abilities and skills. Is persistence the measure of my will to win, to do more than just survive? Yes.
“Man is made great or little by his own will”. (Johann Schiller)
To all I say, persist on. Do not quit. Master the art of ignoring criticism, overcoming the fear of failure and procrastinating. These are the three evils that chip away at your will. Fight them!
